| Prints in the Sand Copyright - all rights reserved Foam froths upon a rocky shore And returns to the sea once more View what has washed in this tide From across a great ocean wide Many treasures can be found Amongst the seaweed all around Wet sand warms your toes With salt air to please the nose Walk beside those dunes piled high Beneath such a clear blue sky This timber might be from a liner large Or just some local coastal barge That flotsam from an island far away Perhaps fell off a ship this very day Hermit crabs do scurry about In multi colored shells so stout Over the jagged reef breakers crash As through the cuts fish quickly dash Seen are two sets of prints in the sand For I stroll with The Lord in hand Barney Shirey |
